For closers: Tips for your profile and how to make the best out of your appearance on the platform

In this article we would like to give you tips on how to get the most out of your appearance on closerfinden.de. We also tell you what is and what is not allowed on our site.

Profiles

You have registered? Great. To be found and contacted by companies, consultants and coaches, you now need a profile (resume). In the main navigation you will find the menu item “Sales experts“.

The first sub-item is “Create your profile“. This will take you to a page where you can create your personal closer profile in a few seconds.

Your profile is decisive for the success you will have with your presence on closerfinden.de. Just as you judge other people by their profiles in social networks, so do potential customers or employers.

Authenticity is important in the 21st century. But you should also pay attention to how your appearance affects the opinion about you of people you want to work with.

Obligatory and optional information

Some information in your profile is mandatory. You can recognize this by the fact that these fields are not marked with “(optional)”. All these mandatory fields must be filled in so that you can save your profile (resume).

Other information in your profile is optional. You can recognize this by the fact that these fields are marked with “(optional)”.

What we do not tolerate

  • Advertising for own coaching programs (e.g. closer trainings)
  • Untruths / Misrepresentations
  • Any form of discrimination and degradation

In case of violations we reserve the right to deactivate profiles and user accounts and to prohibit the creation of further profiles.

Recommendations for your profile

The more you tell about yourself, your skills and your experience as a sales expert, the higher the chances that you will be contacted by potential clients or employers and that you will be selected for the contract or job.

Therefore invest a few minutes in your profile design and optimization. By investing a few minutes more time in your profile, you will significantly increase your chances of getting a contract or job.

Formal or informal language

It is up to you whether you choose a formal or an informal address. Both work. Think about who you want to address and how and what fits best to your personal brand. Are you more the formal or rather the informal type of person? What’s more common in the target groups you want to address?

Profile information

As already mentioned above, you have the best chances on closerfinden.de if you present yourself as a person in such a way that potential employers and contractors can get an idea of who you are.
So let employers and employers know why you work as a closer, what special skills you have, where you acquired them and what kind of experience you have in this profession.

More is more!

Profile picture

People see a photo of someone and then put the person in a drawer. Pay attention to which drawer you want to end up in. Use a profile picture that is appropriate for the purpose of this platform here.

The photo should be sharp, properly lit and show you in a business context, but at least not in swim trunks or bikini or otherwise inappropriate.

Whether you then do the sales calls in jogging or underpants does not interest us or your clients (it’s a little different with video sales calls of course). However, you would like to get into the situation of being able to have sales calls.

Notice: We reserve the right to deactivate profiles if your photo does not meet the requirements of closerfinden.de.

Audio presentation

You can upload a mp3 audio file in your profile to present yourself to your work and clients. You can prepare the text for this and then speak it in.

Make sure that it does not sound too “read”. It is important that you sound enthusiastic and highly motivated.

We recommend the following structure for your audio presentation:

  1. Short introduction of your person (e.g. name, age, place of residence, …)
  2. Your training in sales
  3. Your skills, where do you see yourself especially strong?
  4. Your experience if you have any (if you don’t have any experience at all, you don’t need to emphasize that)
  5. Your dream task
  6. Your dream business / dream target group incl. reasons (maybe you are an enthusiastic fitness athlete or are intensively engaged in personality development – tell your profile visitors about it!)
  7. Call to Action (e.g. “Write to me”, “contact me”)

Tips:

Be aware:

  • Upload only mp3 files
  • The maximum file size is 10 MB.

Video about you

In your profile you can add a link to a video (e.g. on YouTube) about you. The video will then be embedded directly in your profile and can be played directly there.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to present yourself to potential employers or clients in moving images.

With a short, sympathetic introduction video you will immediately make an impression and increase your chances of getting a job.

Insert the link to your video here (the field is located in your profile).

Here are some recommendations:

  • Keep it short (up to about 2 minutes).
  • Present yourself professionally (clothing, appearance, vocabulary).
  • Present yourself sympathetically. The first impression counts.
  • Present your individual special abilities.
  • Position yourself as an expert on a specific topic. Communicate your preferred industries.
  • Present yourself motivated and full of anticipation for new requests.
  • Use a call-to-action (e.g. “If you can imagine a collaboration, please contact me via the “Contact” button on this page or via my contact details in my profile.”

Grammar & spelling

There are countless possibilities to check texts for linguistic errors free of charge. Use them. It’s good for your appearance and in the end it’s good for your bank account.

Spelling and grammar mistakes have a negative effect on potential partners, especially because they know that these mistakes can be avoided or corrected very easily if you have the will.

This also has something to do with the esteem you show your partner. The esteem that you wish for from others, you should also show to others.

In the end, the world will always reflect on the outside what you feel, think and do on the inside.

Truth

Please write the truth in your profile. If you tell about trainings, courses, attach a proof of it.
Notice: If information turns out to be untrue, we will deactivate your profile.

Documents

You can attach a file to your profile. There you can upload documents and any certificates as PDF. This also strengthens the confidence of potential employers in you and increases your chances of being hired.
